318 Moisture-permeable cup

This is a cup for evaluating moisture barrier materials such as plastic films and processed paper, as well as the moisture permeability (water vapor transmission rate) of materials like leather and coatings, using the cup method.

- This is a cup (moisture permeability tester, packaging material) used to evaluate the moisture permeability (water vapor transmission rate) of moisture-proof packaging materials such as plastic films and processed papers, as well as leather and coatings. - A sample is attached to a cup containing a desiccant, sealed with a sealing agent, and the weight is measured at regular intervals under specified temperature and humidity conditions. - From the measured weight, the mass of water vapor passing per unit area is calculated, which is defined as the moisture permeability. <Reference Standards> JIS-(K5400), K6549, Z0208, TAPPI-T448, T464, ISO-2528 (Related Products: Constant Temperature and Humidity Chamber for Moisture Permeability Testing No. 367) (Related Products: Moisture Permeability Cup for Fibers No. 401) 【About Catalog Download】 Please request the catalog from the related links below or by contacting us. *For products without individual catalogs, please request the comprehensive catalog.

401 Moisture Permeable Cup (for fibers)

The moisture permeability of textile products is evaluated using the calcium chloride method (A-1 method) and the water method (A-2 method).

- The moisture permeability of textile products is evaluated using the calcium chloride method (A-1 method) and the water method (A-2 method). - In the calcium chloride method, approximately 33g of desiccant (calcium chloride) is placed in a cup preheated to 40°C, and the test specimen, packing, and ring are placed on top and secured with a nut, sealing the sides with vinyl adhesive tape to create the test body. - In the water method, approximately 42ml of water at around 40°C is used instead of the desiccant to create the test body. Under specified temperature and humidity conditions, the mass is measured after one hour and again after another hour to calculate the moisture permeability. <Reference Standard> JIS-L1099 【Regarding Catalog Download】 Please request the catalog from the related links below or by contacting us. *For products without a standalone catalog, please request the comprehensive catalog.
